Since opening in 2003 the practice has expanded and been accredited with being a member of the British Dental Association Good Practice Scheme. Our aim is to provide the highest level of patient care in a warm and friendly environment. The skilled dental team can provide you with cosmetic and routine dental care on the NHS or Privately and for those who are anxious or have a phobia we can offer an appointment with our trained councillor making your visit to the dentist a more pleasant experience.

All our dentists adhere to the rules governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council (GDC) "Standards for Dental Professionals".

Dr lan WalshDr lan Walsh BDS graduated from Newcastle University in 1997 with a distiction in Child Dental Health. After gaining general practice experience in both Lancaster and Southport, in 2003 he opened “The Dentists@ Watling Street Road” with Dr Hennessy.

lan completed a year long course in smile design and aesthetic dentistry at St Anne’s Dental institute in 2005 and has established his reputation as a Restorative/Cosmetic dentist. Ian has since qualified as a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr Stephen HennessyDr Stephen Hennessy BDS graduated from Liverpool University in 1993. Since then he has developed his skills in Cosmetic Dentistry by attending numerous courses nationally and internationally.Since 2001 he has been at the forefront of facial cosmetic procedures and teaches other medical professionals for the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) and all over the country in the artistry of Botox and Facial Fillers.

He is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology. He has also appeared on Channel 5 Discovery Channel and is a BBC Radio Lancashire Botox expert.

Dr Ranjita RaoDr Ranjita Rao BDS graduated from Dr MGR University, Chennai, India in 2001. She then had to undertake a three part rigorous exam conducted by the General Dental Council, UK to enable her to practice dentistry in the UK. Since then, she has worked in the Community Dental Services as a paediatric dentist and then moved to General Practice. Ranjita has also completed a year long course in Restorative Dentistry in 2007 at the St. Annes Dental Institute.

Dr Helen FranksHelen Franks graduated from Birmingham University in July 2008 with a BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy Degree.

Helen previously worked in Wolverhampton for 2 years and moved to Preston in July 2010. She has completed a whitening course and provides a variety of treatment for the practice, including educating and motivating patients to a high standard of oral hygiene.
